Come and discover this very important place for the art of Auguste Rodin. In around thirty minutes, a tour guide will give you all the keys you need to immerse yourself in this house-workshop dedicated to creation.

Opening of the second floor of the villa

Take a rare glimpse into the sculptor's private life by discovering his bedroom on the second floor of the Villa des Brillants. For the occasion, these spaces will be adorned with rarely-seen objects and accessories.

Rewriting Antiquity’ family workshop  

With the artist Lou Motin, weave links and connections between works from the distant past in Rodin's collection and your own imagination... The small modelled and engraved clay tiles assembled during the workshop will make up an evolving installation.

• Saturday and Sunday from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, non-stop. Meet at the educational area. For all ages from 4 upwards.

Open house for the Maison des Ateliers at Source Garouste - Des Brillants

Located in a cottage in the grounds of the museum, the Maison des Ateliers offers artists residencies throughout the year. Created in 1991 on the initiative of the painter Gérard Garouste, La Source is an association with a social and educational vocation through artistic expression, aimed at children and young people in difficulty and their families. Discover the work of artist Kuamen, in residence from 15 September to 15 December 2024.

Practice Drawing independently

Throughout the day, drawing materials will be available to the public in the Galerie des Plâtres. Whether you're a budding draughtsman or an experienced one, everyone is welcome to borrow our pencils and explore all the details of Auguste Rodin's work.
