Visit the Dior fashion show runway

Until Sunday 28 January, access to the sets of the prestigious Dior haute couture show - spring/summer 2024 season - is open to the public with the museum entrance ticket.

Once again, Fashion Week is taking over the sculpture garden, with Dior silhouettes rubbing shoulders with Rodin silhouettes.

The installation by artist Isabella Ducrot - entitled Big Aura - adorns the walls of the showroom in the heart of the sculpture garden, where Dior's haute couture collections were presented on Monday.
They echo the dresses of the Ottoman sultans, studied by Isabella Ducrot. An abstract symbolisation of the garment, an emblem of power that transcends the body.

Know-how and craftsmanship take centre stage. The embroidery techniques used by the embroiderers at the Chanakya School of Craft in Mumbai are highlighted.
