Visit the sets of the Dior haute couture fashion show

Until Sunday, 2nd February, experience the monumental installation by artist Rithika Merchant, created as the setting for Dior's prestigious fashion show, held in the Sculpture Garden during Fashion Week.

For the Dior haute couture spring-summer 2025 collection, artist Rithika Merchant was comissioned to conceive an immersive artwork composed of nine paintings. Translated into large-scale textile panels by the Chanakya ateliers and the Chanakya School of Craft, these works form an immersive visual landscape convening stories of womanhood across generations.
Her paintings informed by the study of botanical drawings, created in gouache, watercolor and ink on paper, engender a natural landscape punctuated by universal symbols, floral and organic shapes. Referencing a variety of literary and mythological sources, she creates a storyline rooted in past narratives, opening a positive future, celebrating female force, energy and joy.

Gallery mediators are available on-site to guide you through the discovery of these exceptional works.
