The Rodin Museum is one of the most charming places in Paris. The works of Auguste Rodin, including The Thinker, an icon of Western art, can be discovered among the roses and under the large trees. The visitor walks in a garden of more than three hectares in the middle of the main monumental sculptures: Victor Hugo, Balzac, The Burghers of Calais and The Gates of Hell. The mansion built in the early 18th century and completely renovated in 2015 houses the collections. The atmosphere, the charm and the discovery of the famous marble Kiss in the heart of the woodwork will make your visit an unforgettable experience.

A group is composed of 10 or more visitors, and up to 30 visitors. Group visits must be booked in advance through the online ticketing service. Without prior reservation, access to the museum may be denied.

How to book your visit?

Your visit is booked in 3 steps:

  • STEP 1
    Each group must purchase a "reservation fee" to reserve a day and time for the visit. This reservation fee also allows the group to choose the area of the visit they want: a visit to the Hôtel Biron + sculpture garden, or the temporary exhibition + sculpture garden.
  • STEP 2
    Children under the age of 18 in the group are entitled to free admission and do not need to purchase additional tickets.

    Also, accompanying adults can benefit from free admission:
    > for kindergarten classes, 1 accompanying adult for 7 children;
    > for elementary school classes, 1 accompanying adult for every 9 children;
    > for middle school classes, 1 accompanying adult;
    > for high school classes, 1 accompanying adult.

Other visitors who have already received free admission as individuals do not need to buy tickets, but will be asked for proof of identity on the day of their visit. See our list of free admission tickets here (French).

Visitors who are not entitled to free admission must purchase tickets: a group rate is available (€11 instead of €15). These tickets cannot be used for individual visits.

  • STEP 3
    If the group leader wishes to comment on the visit, the rental of a pack of audiophones is mandatory for more comfort during the visit. External equipment is not allowed inside the museum.

    For groups of children under 10 years of age, audiophones are not mandatory.

    If the exact composition of the group is not known in advance, it is possible to reserve only the right to confirm the visit, and to buy the entrance tickets and the audiophones directly on the spot.
